It varies (obviously). Usually events are reasonably informal with 20 or so attendees. We never allow more than 100 people to attend.
Put simply, yes. Some events we may ask you to submit questions in advance as multiple attendees may have the same question and time is obviously limited.
For webinars and Q&A sessions, no. But for networking sessions we do encourage it. It's not compulsory of course, it's just we believe you will benefit from people being able to see you whilst you speak.
Nope. not if you don't want to. (Although we may ask you to very briefly introduce yourself along with everyone else at the start). However we think you'll get more out of it if you do.
A minimum of 1 hour and from there it varies. If (e.g.) we had 100 people attending, we would not consider 1hr long enough to take sufficient questions. The event schedule will always be clearly advertised.
Sometimes, yes. However we never record events without telling you and will always very clearly give you the chance to advise us privately if you do not wish to be recorded. We like to share our speakers talking, not you watching.
Once you find an event you wish to attend (including free events) you will see a link that takes you to Eventbrite. There you can process payment via their secure website.
Caps vary depending on each event. However we usually limit purchases to a maximum of 5 for larger organisations and 3 for smaller ones. However you can contact us directly to discuss bulk purchases.
Only in the sense they can sit at the same computer with you. Sorry to be a spoilsport, but you cannot share the event link (sent to you privately after ticket purchase) with anyone else.
Yes. You don't pay us directly or give us bank details. Which if you've never heard of us, you may prefer. All our event tickets are purchased through major reputable sites like Eventbrite
Yes, if you cancel up to 7 days before the event. After that, I'm afraid not except in exceptional circumstances. However the Eventbrite fee (less than £1 usually) is non-refundable. This is beyond our control.
