About Third Sector Network

Founded in 2019, Third Sector Network sprang from a vision to fill a critical gap in the support services available to charities, non-profits, and social enterprises across the UK. We recognised that while the internet overflowed with content on marketing, social media, and growth strategies tailored for the commercial sector, there was a stark lack of guidance that addressed these topics from the unique perspective of charitable organisations. You don't need us to tell you, running a charity is not the same as running a business, so it stands to reason the support you need isn't either.

This realisation sparked the inception of Third Sector Network, a platform dedicated to equipping charities with the tools and knowledge to promote themselves, develop, and grow while staying true to their core mission and values.

We understand that the bulk of work charities do is admin, emailing, physical work and more day to day 'stuff'. This leaves painfully little time to focus on developing skills, building strategies or expanding your knowledge of how to best run a non-profit. What's more, many smaller charities are nowhere near having the financial resources to bring someone in to work on these.

That's where Third Sector Network come in. Our online workshops (most between 80-120 minutes) allow you to enhance your knowledge and understanding of how best to grow your charity without needing to attend training events or give up hours of your time. Our consultancy support is here to give any charity, of any size, access to non-profit expertise as and when you need it to help you get where you want to go as a cause.

The point is, we understand that running a charity is hard and we don't pretend to be the solution to all your problems and challenges. But we do claim to offer support that can make your charity's life easier and help you achieve your goals sooner.
